Been awhile since I've actually done a meme for Crackers himself, so here you go. XD This will be long and very detailed mind you, but this is hardly a fraction of Crackers personality and history. XD Go ahead n ask anything about him you want.
1) What's your character's name?
Crackers Cillian Chao.
2) How old is he/she?
Uhm... Technically around 23. He's been reborn/rebuilt/tossed through time/space was too many times to give him a definitive age anymore. He LOOKS like he's about 5-8 though.
3)Is your OC a boy or a girl?
He's a male. ...But he's been female many times before before. He finds it funny, and would sometimes play with his boobs lol.
4) What's his/her race?
Chao, Neutral Allignment, Advanced Speed Type.
Appearance1) Hair?
Crackers has long blazing red hair.
2) Fur Color/Skin Tone?
His main body is dark blue, with orange feet, orange/black striped ears, and a grey tail tip
3) Eyes?
Emerald Green
4) Special Features?
Medium sized parrot wings, Lions feet, Tigers ears, Fox tail, and quills on his head. Green emerald shard embedded in his chest, and a blazing red chao sphere.
Personality1) Temper?
He used to have a lightning quick temper, but age and duty has mellowed him out quite a bit. It takes a lot longer to anger him now. He's been through so much that it's just not worth getting angry about anymore. But when he's angered it's like setting off a bomb. He's quick to react and strike out.
2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Occasionally, usually about his wife and family. He's had a ton of marital problems, which can make him depressed, but he tries to fight through it.
3) Leader or Follower?
Being a Guardian of the Old Code, he is a natural leader. He can think things through and keep a cool head in stressful situation.
4) What is the main aspect(s) of his/her personality?
Crackers is clinically insane, but over the years has been able to almost fully contain his insanity, resulting in fewer insanity attacks. Age, duty, and family have really leveled his mindset and personality, but not all for the better. Sometimes he can be overly serious, having lost most of his innocence and hyper personality.
While it's gotten much harder to snap his mind and trigger an insanity attack, he's also lost much of his happy go lucky attitude. Usually when his insanity attacks were triggered, dependent on the cause (such as emotional stress or hardship), he would either become nonsensical and silly (like say, building marshmallow forts on a slanted roof), or inwardly violent, leading to self mutilation.
However, thanks to an accident with a temporal portal, now when an attack is triggered he goes through a mental regression, back to his teenage mindset where he is much more reckless, carefree, and hyper. ...his family isn't sure is this is a good thing or not. On the up side, he's not mutilating himself during an insanity attack anymore, but on the down side... trying to keep up with the "teen Crackers" is a little hard to take. Everyone has to be on their toes, especially his Guardian children, who he takes great pleasure in testing and pranking. He also doesn't take very much seriously in this mindset, which can be agravating in stressful situations, since technically, he's bat shit insane during the attack, which can last anywhere from an hour, to days.
History1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Crackers parents are long deceased, having died sometime after he was born. His and his sisters eggs were stolen from the garden he was born in, so he never met his parents. He does know how linage, and did meet his grandfather for a short time before he passed away. His "adopted mom" is Tilas, who hatched him and raised him, and his "grandmother" would be Samantha. He has a sister named Biscuit (Former Chanselor of the Chao people), and is married to his wife named Shadow. He has many kids, Elian, Dalmar, Cara, Cinni, Varick, however, only Dalmar was "planned". Varick was a result of an evil entity manipulating him and his wife, Cara and Elian are adopted, and Cinni was from his now deceased girlfriend Ayamee, who he didn't even know he had until years later after her death.
2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Crackers is the owner of the Mountian Garden, but has since passed Guardianship down to his daughter Cinni and her husband Adam. He also owns the garden Dalmar is rebuilding, but is only a guide there, not a Guardian. He goes back and forth between gardens, taking care of each one and his families as he's needed.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Way, way, WAY to many to count.
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
He can't pick a best time, there were too many good ones. Probably when he was first appointed a full Guardian will always be one of his most proud accomplishments.
5) What does he/she do for a living?
Guardian of the Old Code. He is a protector, he has the authority to build, run, and command a chao garden (a settlement of chao, ranging from 1-100 chao). It is his job to ensure that chao are safe, secure, and healthy, by doing whatever is needed, from building homes, to harvesting crops, to defending the garden in battle or war.
The Old Code is an ancient code, that is outside the law of the Chao Chancellery. The Chao Government cannot affect or command any garden controlled by the Old Code, but as such, is also not allowed to offer any support to such Gardens. Meaning, whatever happens to Crackers gardens, he must deal with himself, with no outside help from the Chao Government. So Crackers has become very versatile, form farmer, to builder, to healer, to politician, if need be.
Romance1) Single/Married/Divorced/etc?
He's married to his wife Shadow. ...Mostly happy, but they have their problems. Some think they almost enjoy the tension of the marriage, because they fight constantly, then make up and are move loving then ever.
2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
He's had 3 girlfriends, and married the 3rd. Ayamee was the first, who also suffered from bouts of insanity. She committed suicide in a fit of madness, which to this day, Crackers blames himself for. The second was SweetSilence, who died and was reborn as Shadow. ...so technically you could say he's only had 2, but Shadow and SS were completely different.
3) Virgin?
He's got kids a plenty. Not a chance!
4) Does your character like flirting?
He used to flirt all the time, and enjoyed the attention. Once he was married, "Duty" set in, and he abruptly stopped, since it was dishonorable to flirt since he's married. However when he's in an insanity attack and is in his teen mentality, he flirts to any pretty lady he sees, which drives his wife bonkers.
5) Which way do they swing?
As hard as Zaol tries, Crackers is still completely straight. Zaol has declared it his goal in life to bang Crackers at least once, but it hasn't happened yet though, but Zaol keeps trying!
RANDOMIZE!1) Is your character wanted for anything or ever kill anyone?
Crackers used to run an underground organization called the CSS. In which he did quite a few illegal things, which he should be wanted for. But when Chaclon was in power, he "erased" that past, so Crackers has no record. His sister Biscuit has used her powers in government to ensure Crackers record stays squeaky clean, but yes, he's done his share of illegal activity, and has killed many times. But Crackers has his honor code, and has only killed in self defense, or killed people who deserved it (like murderers, evil spirits, head hunters, war criminals...)
2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
--Duty
This is both a strength and weakness. It can blind him at times, and has almost cost him his family on multiple occasions. Sometimes, he does what is "needed" and not what is "right".
--Stress
High stress situations, while he can handle them better now then ever, take their toll on him mentally, causing insanity attacks, bouts of depression, confusion, or anger.
--He won't admit it to anyone, but his hearing is starting to fail. It's a result of all the trauma (physical and mental) he's suffered over the years. Thankfully for him, he's become an expert at reading lips, sign language, and is extremely observant of his surroundings, so he's managed to live with it without anyone realizing it.
3) Strengths?
-- Duty
As said, this is both. he's very self sacrificing, willing to die for what he beleives in. Extremely dependable, and will fight to the end for his duty to his job, family, and friends.
-- Speed
He is extremly fast. Not the fastest creature on the planet by any means, but one of the fastest chao alive. He loves to run and will run for days. He's a bit out of shape currently though.
-- Swimming
He's a excellent swimmer, but not as good as a swim type. However he has the ability to breath underwater, which comes in very useful. Not for swimming, but for relaxation. He likes to nap at the bottom of the pond, as it's peaceful, quiet, and serene.
4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
He's tried smoking, but didn't like it, it made him very sick. He drinks though, loves whiskey and cola. He usually has one a night, so he's not a *heavy* drinker by any means... unless it's a Poker game. At the games he tends to get roaring drunk, since well, out of all the games he's attended, barely ever do they actually PLAY poker.
5) What's one quirk about your him/her?
He LOVES to cook! It's always been a hobby, ever since Tilas blew up the kitchen making bacon. It's something he does to unwind and relax, he loves to try new recipes, especially big meals. No matter how busy his schedule is, he always makes dinner for his family on Fridays, and for the Trinity family on Saturdays, and each dinner is like a feast.
6) Does your character have any phobias?
He loves to fly- with his own wings. Put him in an airplane and he freaks out. Helicopters especially, he calls them "spinny deathtraps". Really, he's bothered by all types of vehicles, he doesn't feel comfortable in them. Oh, and space ships, he can't stand being inside them. He gets very claustrophobic, and irrationally scared that something will happen, almost a guarantee he'll snap. After all, he can't just jump out of one.
7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
Hurt his family, fastest way to piss him off.
8) Any special abilities?
When he became a Guardian of the Old Code, he received blessings from Chaos himself, and was given a chaos emerald for his garden. Chaos then chipped a shard off the emerald and planted it in Crackers' chest. This shard is a link to the chaos emeralds power, which he can utilize for a power boost if he needs it. It is very powerful, but lasts a very short time before it drains, and when it does, it drains all of his energy as well, so he only uses it in dire situations. Most Old Code Guardians receive a shard, as well as the emerald it came from, but for cases where there are multiple guardians in one garden, like Cinni & Adam in Crackers garden, Chaos chipped off shards from Crackers emerald to give to them, so if needed, they can lend their power to each other. Crackers is the true owner of the emerald however, and can block the other two if he has to.
The Final Question
1) What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
Tilas hatched and raised Crackers, so she is like his mother in many ways, but their relationship is more then that. They are bonded by the ancient spell called "Family Ties", which links one person to the other. They can share thoughts, emotions, abilities, and even physical traits with each other. Yes, this does mean Crackers can become female and visa versa (though they don't do THAT very often). Such a spell can only be done when two people already share an unbreakable bond. They depend on each other, care for each other, and share everything with each other.
