Finally got this guy done! I've been wanting to do something on my walls for awhile, and after seeing that pic of the guy who made his room like Bubbleman's stage from Megaman (google it, it rocks), I decided to do some "spriting" of my own. Now, I'm sure there's gonna be questions so....

"Did you actually paint this on your WALL?"
-- Sure did! It's my house and I can do whatever I want to it! XD

"How big is he?"
-- I did a ratio of 1 pixel = 0.5 inches, so his total grid size was 15.5 inches squared. :)

"What did you use?"
-- I used Americana and FolkArt Acrylic paints. Water based and they work really well. Same ones I use for ponies.

"How long did it take?"
--Start to finish.... 7 hours spread over one day.

"Do you plan to do more?"
--Oh yes! I'm thinking about MegaMan, Scrooge McDuck, Bucky O'Hare, and a few others from the classic NES games. If I get REALLY ambitious, I'm thinking of trying the Animaniacs, Sonic, and Sparkster from the Genesis games, but being 16bit, they're be a lot harder and bigger. ^_^;

At first I was disappointed to see this in the popular cartoons category, as I thought it was merely a sprite photo-shooped over a picture of a sofa for whatever mundane reason. Then I looked closer and realised that you had painted the sprite yourself! I'm now impressed, it's very well done. I wish that I could do such things to my walls, but the house I reside in is a rental and I'd screw up anyways. You're very lucky and talented, I think, to be able to do such things with confidence and have them turn out so well.

As I said, very nicely done, and I guess it goes to show that just because something looks simple at first glance doesn't mean it is. Keep up the good work!
